<<IDT Corp. would probably own about 20 percent of the venture, with Cisco and Net2Phone holding 40 percent each, CNBC said. >>

yeah thanks HJ, at least I have the sense to hold onto IDTC, which still owns some NTOP!

In late Sept ATT BOD are meeting to discuss/decide on a plan to get their stock moving, including poss splitting up the co. John Malone is lurking in the shadows, and he owns some IDTC and pieces of several other telcom co's. And of course, IDTC has been buying back its shares.

Could be "an agenda" unfolding here. More intrigue and tangled ownership than an Agatha Christie novel!

Kevin Landis of Firsthand Funds owns ATT and he is a sharpie.

<< ``Anytime you do something with Cisco in this area, it definitely helps'' the company's valuation, said Alan Loewenstein, co-manager of the $2.8 billion John Hancock Technology Fund, which holds about 300,000 shares of Net2Phone. >>

Even after today, i would hazard to suggest that John Hancock Technology Fund is well underwater on NTOP.

I guess I should be pleased with my 4% return over two weeks.
Victor

From The Street Life:

"Deliver This

By Julie Creswell

HOLD THE KOZMO.COM IPO: So Kozmo.com officially postponed
its IPO until early next year, saying such a move will allow
it to become profitable first. The company is also
continuing talks to acquire rival Urbanfetch.com, which it
sued last year, claiming it copied its business model.
(Hmm...what business model would that be?).... "

Good question in my mind<G>
