If you're wife likes "posh" places - I stayed at Iberostar, checked out all of the others and it was definitely the best deal down there. If you want R&R without the glitz (and away from it all), Capital Lafitte's (which Frank will tell you about) is wonderful. Kind of rustic and older - but very quaint. The bartender makes a terrible Pina Colada, though. We did 4 nights at each and it was the perfect mix.
