I recall seeing some benchmarks but they may have been from Transmeta and not an independent source.
So we will wait...

They haven't released any benchmarks, but they are not really emulating. Their technology is more like a JIT (just in time compilation.) Some code will run slower on Crusoe, but they claim that other code can be optimized to run faster than PIII.



This is the kind of technology Intel needs for the Itanic. HP gave the CPU technology to Intel for free- too bad for Intel that HP didn't give this free to Intel also!
