By the time x86-64 ships in volume (2002), linux in the server segment may be 35-40% of the 2-4 processor market.

Regardless of how MS is treating AMD, they have to go after this market, if they do not want to limit the market potential for Hammer.

Linux is going great guns.

I understand AMD is funding the SUSe project; did Microsoft give AMD a cold shoulder so far for the X86-64?
