Interestingly enough the BosChk bondholders got fairly battered as well. I think G* is clearly a different situation, however. The BosChk model fell apart because each "box" or restaurant generally did not produce positive cash flow. BosChk management also improperly (not illegally) counted deposits and payments from franchisors and developers building "boxes" as income thereby assuring that as growth in building "boxes" slowed that the drag of the money losing locations sucked the co. under.

G* is different every "box" is a sub so to speak and every sub is money good to the co. The challenge is simply to get subs. Ramped up advertising noted in the Connecticut, USA area is indicative of a stronger marketing effort on the part of at least one SP. More marketing like this and things should pick up. Further data apps., despite off the wall insinuations that data will BK G*, should equal a solid number of subs within the next 2 Q's, as well.

Anyone know if national TV advertising is in the works?
