One of the reports claimed something about this alleged trade secret theft came from ORCL people in a lab at SAP. Since this allegation has been around for some time and at the time of this report I read the ORCL people were still at SAP, I am inclined to think that this allegation was just some smoke to bolster the suit. ORCL has a reputation for being run by cowboys (or maybe frat boys), but I doubt it. For instance, I know a few women that work there, and none have ever complained about the place being hard on women, and the ones that I've asked about it said they see no difference.

That doesn't mean that it's great for everyone or that someone couldn't get wrongfully terminated. Maybe that even happened here. My point is just that ORCL has a reputation that could make it a target for these sorts of allegations, and as far as I can tell, that reputation is undeserved.
