Sorry, don't buy the MMs pushing the stock down (for QFAB). I have a good friend who is a MM and he says those stories are way overblown (however he did tell me some interesting strategies). All these small investors want to claim its the MMs fault. Plus, its not like the IRS allows you to claim all your losses as a tax credit. It's actually a very small amount.

MMs can't push the stock down for several reasons. 1) There are multiple MMs working one stock. According to you there must have been a conspiracy to tank the stock. 2) It's all about supply and demand. If MMs are pushing the stock down that means there are no buyers to push it up. Given Fidelity wants to unload 1.2 million shares...

So how does this apply to NMGC: Well, it appears that institutions are accumulating NMGC. Why would they sell in December when they already know it won't really do much until next year?
