Yes, we had tremendous gains in the semi-equips this week - a rest is certainly in order. However, if the Fed meeting turns out well on Tuesday, as most people think it will, we could see some more gains next week as well. The semis took such a beating prior to last weeks run-up, see Message 14241265 that a continuation of the run-up would not be "out of line" IMO. As you point out, LAM took it on the chin much more than AMAT and others, and should bounce back further. Don W.
