CB, I am fully aware that there are specific individuals on the clown thread. You missed my point that da_cheif was doing exactly the same thing that happens every day on the clown thread. You have defended what happens on the clown thread as you guys are just having fun and that there is no ill intent. What still amazes me is that you and others on the thread do not seem to understand that when the person that is singled out for ridicule isn't brought in on the joke, it isn't funny, it is offensive. You seem to understand why it would be offensive to Luc when da_cheif does it, but you don't seem to get it that it is offensive to any number of other people when initiated by someone on the clown thread. I stated publicly that I felt that both da_cheif and Mythman should be reinstated. I am done with that issue. I am specifically discussing the fact that you are being critical of da_cheif's actions when you have defended the same behavior, twice directly to me, when it happens on the clown thread. That is why I used the term "double standard". Though it might take me a couple of days, I believe that I could put together a pretty convincing case of the assertion that I have made that you have defended these actions on the clown thread while criticizing the actions when done to members of the clown thread. Let me know if you want me to pursue this. I have not noticed Joel Gander doing anything to you. To my knowledge, I do not have any influence on what he or anyone else on SI says or does. JXM
