Ask the rascal to actually name the parts that are in short supply. (g) It isn't micros and it isn't memory. There were some capacitor shortages earlier in the year, but this related to the hoarding and double booking that prevailed at the time.

Earlier in the year, Intel tried to make it appear that "it couldn't meet the demand", when in fact, and as has now been shown, the problem was Intel's inability to supply high end micros. What a joke some of these guys are.

Methinks the gentleman is fibbing through his teeth in an attempt to set things up for an acceptance of crummy fall results or is trying to unload some excess inventory and wants to influence the pricing environment. CPQ is on my hit list, so we shall see who is telling the truth on this issue,.... and before Christmas.
