Wasn't Dubya, flying to have dates with one of Nixon daughters?

I think it would have really been interesting to have put
Bob Kerrey on the ticket as VP.

Would have been quite a contrast betw. the two
Republicans, who talk tough on defense- yet when
push came to shove- they felt better to let some
one else go serve their country, and the Democrats
w. Kerrey, a Navy SEAL, who lost his leg and carried on to
save his unit, and won the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Bush should have put Quayle back on the ticket
to demonstrate even further that when push comes to shove,
the grunts are the kids who go fight for their country
because for many of these kids, service provides them an
opportunity for advancement as well as honor.

Some talk tough as long as other people's children are sent.

<sigh>

I wonder how much danger we are all in now that ALL of our nuclear secrets have been compromised by the Chinese due to the bumbling and continuing incompetence of the Clinton/Gore Energy and State Departments? Now that's real danger. JLA
