Dick,

I called DELL and the rep laughed. He said DDR was too unstable.

Michael Dell made the same comment about AMD processors. Dell is really on top of things these days.

It's a shame that Dell's pcworld "best buy" money for nothing PC has 64 meg DDR graphics memory, isn't it, Dick? I guess the graphics must run backwards. Just think, if the scambus operation actually managed to extort their preferred royalty schedule out of Dell's supplier, they might be making more money out of the DDR graphics memory on the system than out of the bs-ram main memory.

Offhand, I'd guess the Dell sales rep was about as technically astute as you are.
