hey gott, and now i'm posting to you from opera. sure did install fast. and unless it's my imagination, si seems snappier. i have not encountered the flaw you referenced. 'next' takes me right to the last (most recent) post. where the heck is the location bar, or the address bar? i had to select 'window', then 'new document window'. i'm used to having a place to paste an url, and i haven't found that yet. thanks for providing the incentive to try opera. what does it cost? i guess i should look around, but i downloaded direct from d&c's link [edit: finding some difficulties now, after just a very short spin around si. the inbox is not registering new messages properly, the thread message count isn't changing correctly (maybe both are related), and this is just a brief test drive around these familiar surroundings. not too cool, imo] :) mark
