Gary, The concern our outlined is common. However, you are viewing the matter from only one perspective. Remember, all swords worth their metal have two edges.

CY does in fact lead the world in two very visible markets (USB and solid state timing) as well as several other niche markets. The barriers to competition in these markets are greater than most imagine. However, this leadership, within itself, has little to do with my interest in CY. I will elaborate more on this subject later.

Think about exactly why people invest in gorillas, think if all four of your examples are (were and or will be) gorillas and then take a look at CY from a different perspective. The benefit of a gorilla is that their future growth and profitability is clear and somewhat assured. However, you must pay for this assurance (high P:E etc.). Gorillas are good to have in your portfolio, but like a zoo, it is not well balanced if they are the only animal in which you invest.

I'll be glad to provide some detail, but I think it would be easier for me and more beneficial for you if you consider the roots of your concerns and assumptions first.

Regards, pmcw
