I am really surprised that there is that big a market in scarp for silver...it's not like it is $12 an oz of something....In regards to silver being an industrial metal or a "regular" commodity, I just don't see it as money like some people do gold. Never have. In the old days you could call it a gold subsistute I guess but I don't think so any more. The real point I was making was that silver gets used up and not recycled to the same degree as gold, so if anything silver should be supported better. Now if the CB's are lending silver the same as gold....well we can see what has happened to POG.
