You are a good fellow, although I do not think the issue is income disparities so much as it is the maintenance of high employment and economic growth, and thus a real improvement in compensation. Why care what the top brackets make?

There is a legitimate argument about government debt. However, the baleful effects on credit markets have not so far appeared, and therefore there is no urgency in reducing it, even if it is a relief to stop wracking it up.

It is possible that projections are too rosy. However, forecasts are supposed to be made on the basis of conservative assumptions, and it is also possible that expectations will be exceeded. I do not know enough about how they arrived at these figures to speculate.......
