In a market which is broadening, do you want to reposition your portfolio?

If you have experienced market pull backs such as what happened this spring. Fear sets in and you may have foolishly closed some of your positions. Perhaps even got discouraged to the point of quitting stock investment in general. Well, the market is now turning around. Most of the stocks are taking turns to move back to their previous highs.

Will the stocks really go back to the previous highs? The technical analysis may help you in eyeballing the trendlines. You probably missed the entry point. You probably sold at the lowest point. All is not lost. In the process of broadening, stocks take turns. The best stock on the DOW gets recovered first. Then the Nasdaq favorites. Then the OTCBB, believe it or not?

This time, when you reinvest, watch the economy. Then look at the fundamentals of the company you like; probably some stock you had made money on. Then you must pay attention to the technical analysis. Not the traditional moving average or any exotic leading indicators. It is the overbought and oversold. Count the volume during the pull back; the bid volume and the ask volume.

If the pull back earlier had evidence of an oversold condition, you may qualify the stock for retrace of some years past. It may show a 300% move then. Of course in today's ECN trading, 300% then may be 400%-1000% now, before another Elliot 3rd wave start to pull back due to stockholders dumping the stock. That is if you believe in Elliot 5 wave theory as seen in any market makers' eyes?

Good luck in all your investments.
