Clappy my recipes for canning say just add salt.... Cooking tomatoe recipe--says add sugar, salt, pepper and a little minced onion. I have a good Italian sauce recipe but I can put my hands on it real quick. I bet ya can make some real good sauce yaself. You do know the trick of putting the tomatoes in hot water bath then cold water bath and the peelings come right off. Most important. If ya don't have this I can give that to you word for word. Nothin' to it. Well I will leave ya alone and let ya get ya chores done. Get them youngin's involved. Maybe they could pick out the seeds. Enjoy.
