Look at page 14

They direct connected two JNPR M20 routers, and also connected them through a Z3000 DWDM network using three 10 kilometer (6.3 miles) fiber spans (basically simulating a 19 mile metro ring).

"this configuration allowed the parties to show that there is no noticeable difference in packet throughput between two Juniper Networks M20 routers that are directly connected, or that are connected using the Z3000 DWDM network."

No wonder JNPR is very interested in Zaffire!
