<The cornerstones which support all other freedoms in our land are:
A Free & Open Market
The Freedom of the Press(This double edged saber must cut both ways)
Assured Protected Property Rights
The Freedom of Speech
The Right to Own & Bear Arms.>

In general, your correct. But there are limits to most Freedoms and your failure to elaborate on these limits, makes your statements hollow or abstract. For example, Freedom of the Press does not give anyone the right to slander another person or company. Moreover, Freedom of Speech does not give one the right to yell fire in a movie theater when there is no fire. Why not? Because it represents a "clear and present danger" to those in the movie theater who will trample on each other in order to get out in time.

What do you mean by "Assured Protected Property Rights." I fully support the concept of "private property" rights so we don't have an argument there. But what if the Government needs to build an Interstate High Way or Railroad Tracks, which would benefit the vast majority of its citizens? Is the Government supposed to not proceed if there are private homes that stand in the way? I think not. Typically, the government offers a price to compensate the existing home owners. If the price offered to relocate is not sufficient for the home owners, there are courts that sometimes amend the price offer.

As for the right to own and bear arms, we have had this discussion before. I support a safe society where crime is dramatically reduced. If getting as many guns off the streets will help accomplish that goal, I'm all for it. If a person is so desperate to own a gun, let them buy it on the black market like the criminals they want to defend themselves against. I'm not an advocate of individual citizens taking the law into their own hands. If your looking to protect yourself, Richard, why don't you get a black belt in Karate? I sense you'd like to walk around town with your gun in your holster like the Wild Wild West, taking the law into your hands and challenging people who you hate to a draw.

Markets trade based on the fundamental underpinnings of the economic reality that supports them.

This is a free society, Richard. No, it is not perfect. Errors are made and people are put in prison for crimes that they have never committed. No System of Government is perfect. But the Capitalistic System here is Free and it is held in high esteem by the vast majority of people all over the World.
