Actually, what I quoted was from a later post.

In the post you quote, I had discussed why Clintoncare was extremist, why excessive federalization was contemptuous of self- government, and why favoring judicial activism was not terribly democratic. I then summarized my criticisms. Now, although not all liberals approved of the nationalization of healthcare, it was generally considered a liberal position, and it is indisputable that liberals are more prone to view federal initiatives in issues like education and community development very favorably. Similarly, liberals generally favor judicial activism. Therefore, in my opinion (and it was a personal perspective post), liberals are not terribly democratic, are contemptuous of self- government, and prone to extremist positions. Liberals doubtless consider conservatives to go off the deep end from time to time. Nevertheless, that does not make them extremists per se, or according to common usage. Nor does my considering liberals to be prone to extreme positions, as in the case of Clintoncare, mean that I think that they are Extremists according to common usage, which was what I discussed in the subsequent post.....
