magicslr, SMRA chart is just a good example for us to discuss about ACC/DIS. If we can identify where ACC/DIS phases are, we certainly can make more money in this way. Since SMRA has proven business model with great earnings, this one is belonged to the basis of O'Neil's idea about making money in stock market. IMHO SMRA cannot be thought of as the next JDSU or CSCO. But I think $30, which is Lehman bro's target, is certainly well within reached. As soon as the company has built up tremendous cash flow, they can buy whatever company they like. ADCT is one example. All in all, any company with negative earnings doesn't categorized as O'Neil's model. Buying on them is just a speculative move, IMHO.
