Only a fraction of the energy used in North America comes from heating. More so in Canada. But, yes, my standard of living comes precisely from my energy consumption and the web of connection such consumption patterns support. You think otherwise?

Would you somehow adversely affected by a change to the pattern of consumption? I'd understand if you felt under attack if you were.

But, like the overeating, flatulent roommate who feels everyone is picking on him, denying that there is a problem doesn't make the problem go away. Are you saying there is no world-wide energy consumption problem and that everything is "just fine"?
