"don't know what to do with the info" oh, you mean you expect these tips and shared experiences to have some useful purpose? some redeeming quality about them? <vbg> i know what you mean, gottfried. but there may be a few instances where you've lost what you were entering or where you were, and the cache trail will provide you with a means of retrieval. netscape cache info is more detailed and gives me the current size of the cache files so i know when to dump 'em, as such: "Disk Cache statistics Maximum size: 7864320 Current size: 1299751 Number of files in cache: 256 Average cache file size: 5077" a quick glance at the first two figures tells me that the cache is still manageable size and no need to clear it. :) mark
