no - it hasn't given a buy signal yet. in fact, the sell signal's objectives have not yet been met (at least a 20% DJIA decline, before the next buy signal is given). however, the system may be setting up for a rare failure...it's too early to tell for sure though. the previous loops that most closely resemble today's ('73 and '81) also took quite long to lead to a downside resolution for the Dow from the date the signal was given. they were not system failures, in spite of the fact that it took some time for them to achieve the predicted result.
loopometry failures are rare (i think no cycloop failed signal has yet occurred actually) - that doesn't mean they're impossible.

anyway, we're going up, because where else would we go? -g-
