I disagree. I consider SI Bob to be one of the more decent people representing SI and one of the more decent members as well. This is the post that SI Bob was offended by: Message 14235096 This is the apology that was given: Message 14241349 (Excerpt: It was meant to be a joke, not to be hurtful or an insult. ) But I have to wonder about the sincerity of the "joke", when 17 minutes after the original "joke", she posts this: Message 14235206 I used to like SI Bob, until this GFY stuff came up. I don't believe the claim that the original intention was to be a joke with no ill intent. I don't believe that people joke around with people whom they are willing to state publicly that they don't like. Of all people, Bob doesn't deserve that enmity. Perhaps this isn't the right thread for the nomination, but I certainly wouldn't be handing any medals out for that apology. JXM
