When you shop for a hotel you might ask if the hotel has an arrangement with the local Y or local health club.

When my husband was in Ann Arbor a few months back on a business trip, he discovered that he could get into the Y for free. It was a nice facility.

I learned only to swim when I was an adult and that was because I thought I wanted to take up sailing. However, my idea of sailing in a dinghy was that we would rent a boat, pack a picnic lunch along with a bottle of wine. What a surprise!!!

We were in Idaho, and I watched people rent sail boats from a small shop on the lake. I walked over and told the owner that we would like to rent a boat, but the only problem we had was that we didn't know how to sail.

I asked him, if he could give us a book that would tell us how to do it! (ggggg). A few years later we bought a dinghy, but I didn't like messing around with it.

If I had it to do over, I'd buy a Hobie Cat!!!
