Hi Bosco:

Well the strike is now over so that should help. As for VZ & NPNT I'm clueless. Their VZ conection was really thru GTE and I'm not sure how much they had with VZ in the 1st place.

My main reason for being in the stock was when I noticed the announcment a couple of months ago they were having a capacity issue with meeting demand and had lined up a manufacturing operation to help add capacity. This plus Zeev pointing out a floorless had just been removed.

This is a good problem for a manufactuing operation to have too much demand for existing capacity. Far better than having idle capacity and having to lay off employees.

Means good things in the way of sales and earnings down the road.

Now before we become too excited this was part of the news that helped it run into earnings and print $30 so its old news. However they have also added SBC to the client mix last quarter. Also remember the company is still losing money, their is plenty of competition and the DSL modem will become a comodity item within a couple of years.

Right now they are in the sweet spot with the phone companies finally rolling out DSL to compete with the cable companies. Note AOL's deal with TimeWarner. AOL has issues as DSL & cable move in on its service.
