Cowgirl: Just curious about yours...

...and others' views on subject matter is all.

Diversity is a very compelling subject that I think we as individuals and as investors need to address.

I want to see if racism is abating in this country, not that I personally can effect it much one way or another.

Does that answer your question regarding my interest in the subject?

Words as well obviously fascinate me as a writer. (LOL...I've done okay as one for a 20-year career...nothing great but has paid the bills).

So: in other parts of this country has the 'term' Satchmo become synonymous or not with the dreaded 'n' word?

Can we hear from others here?

TIA,

'bia'

Satchmo is an excellent name!

I'm not sure why all the fuss.
When you hear the name Satchmo, you think of the world's greatest trumpet player/jazz singer Louis Armstrong.
I can't think of any other meaning for it.

It's an honor to be named after a person as great as him.
How could that offend anyone?
Seems silly.

P.S. "What a Wonderful World" is one of my all time favorite
songs.
I also love "When The Saints Come Marching In".
His version of a song, changes the song...forever.

When I got a new horse my Nick was beside himself. I remember putting the new horse Rick in the cross ties and starting brushing him when I could feel a hard cold stare focused on me. Looking behind me I saw Nick with ears back and a face so ugly a mother could'nt even love. I told my ex Nick is jealous, he said" oh come on, your putting to much into it". I told him okay then go into his stall and make sure he"s okay. He went in and Nick turned around with teeth beared and pushed him into the wall ( To bad he did'nt hurt him, but thats another story) And they say horses r dumb. Also I think Satchmo is a good name. My last cat was black and I named him Tyrone. Nothing racial he just looked like a Tyrone to me. We should have a name picking contest here on Si for your new horse. The winner gets a 100 shares of Qcom.
