They are interesting because they distributed a 40 page mailer 2 weeks ago titled "Back to School Savings".

Hewlett-Packard:
4 Intel Model Machines
3 AMD Model Machines

Compaq:
4 Intel Model Machines
4 AMD Model Machines

Sony:
5 Intel Model Machines
0 AMD Model Machines

Totals:

Intel: 7 Pentium/3 Models, 6 Celeron
AMD: 7 Athlon Models, No K6, No Duron

Of course, if you want cutting edge machines, AMD has it all. Is that what the families that you know, are buying for "Back To School"?
