When ya got a group of folks like ya have here on the porch ya don't need a bunch of rules. There is no way for us to enforce these rules when we are not moderated.......That is why the only way to take care of a situation is to ignore a person or a part of a post. We try to put forth an effort to be nice to everyone and respect each persons individuality. These are the same tongue and cheek rules that we had when you came aboard. Actually the bitch part was added when SI threw a porcher in jail for calling another a bitch. Porch Rules: 1. Ya don't call anyone a bitch. 2. Ya don't use the four letter word that begins with "F" That's it. We only have two....we make them up as we go along. The regular porchers are such nice folks we haven't had to make up any more rules. Bonnie these are tongue and cheek rule. You know that. The porchers don't need rules they are all good people.....you were at the party......Most folks at the party act the same on the board and as they did at the party. Maybe one or two are a little inhibited in a personal situation, but most are the same. You do not need rules for the likes of those kinda people. They have their own internal rules. Now SI has a sorta code of ethics(about a paragraph)....they are no different than what most folks would use in their every day walk of life. Just sorta being courtous and respectful of others. That's it. Simple really. I don't think I have said a dang thang you didn't already know. You just asked. love, dealie

I'm changing my name to "Satchmo" . . . . It's got a great ring to it. Unfortunately, I can't play the trumpet. I simply turn up the volume on my CD player. I remember when I used to use the word "boy" too much when I was in my late teens. Damn, a great black friend of mine in college gave me a look once that I will never forget. I had intended no insult, but he was highly offended. It was a great learning experience. You love to instigate, don't you Bonnie? All under the guise of intellectualism.
