does anyone here happen to know what the difference is between medicare benefits (including the shoo-in drug entitlement, might as well) vs. the medical benefits the mentally ill receive? Is the latter state funded or federal welfare, etc.? I am wondering because there has been a huge increase of mentally ill homeless in the major cities over the last 20 years and I'd like to see these people taken care of for their own benefit as well as the health aspect before we "shore up" the bloated Medicare program, jmo
