I am getting hints of bad vibes about this and about INSP. I never thought I would say this, or even think it! Instinctively I do not like this deal.

Pareto...where is my report comparing active shopper from infospace to inktomi's shopping engine?....I need this on my desk soon as I am getting very paranoid lately about this deal and other stuff. Naveen thinks a frog is more evolved than a shark. What do you think?.....Did you know a frog can breath thru its skin?? Can a shark do that?.....For some strange reason, I don't think anyone believes or listens to me anymore....don't leave me now Pareto as these are difficult times dealing with the likes of Naveen Jain as our new leader.....

I have some follow up for you on my personal testing of the wireless web.......I have successfully sent myself an email telling myself I was a douche burger and received some stock alerts today...so it looks like it works but big frigging deal....I am still waiting for my alert that gnet hit 55 and it looks like that may take awhile. It be cool to do some of this other stuff Naveen is advertising that we can do like check prices with bar codes, pay bills and make travel arrrangements. I see no evidence however, that has been implemented in the carriers I have checked which include voicestream and verizon...perhaps on some other carrier or perhaps Naveen is getting a bit ahead of himself which certainly would not surprise me. Verizon's deal is 3 months free and then 7 bucks a month. Here is the link to what Naveen says we can do

infospace.com

Here is a link that shows what actually really can be done now. By the way there was some people saying that phone.com had a deal with verizon... well this below link is powered by infospace so if phone.com has some deal with them it must be for something other than this.
