Skeeter:

No question that RMBS is a fiasco. (g)

Samsung has commented that within its organization, as a result of its involvement with Rdram, overall yields are not up to snuff, but I haven't heard of it being a concern elsewhere. In spite of all the announcements and hype, available evidence seems to suggest that most memory companies haven't done much more than "play" with it. Having taken big cheques from INTC, some no doubt felt a need to be seen to be doing a Rambus thing.

No question that for those who did mess with it, the yields were lousy.

Best, Earlie
