Actually, yes. It seems that when you're spending $80,000 to send a kid to school, an extra $500 that might give him/her an advantage is usually an automatic yes.

Sure, an automatic yes.... IF.... you're sending your kid to an $80,000 school. On the other hand, if money doesn't grow on trees, or your kid needed a scholarship to go to college, or your kid is going to the local Community College, or your sending your teenagers, youngsters and pre-schoolers to public high school, elementary school and kindergarten.... Then it's a little different story.

I have a feeling that your scenario is the exception, where mine is more likely the rule.

And as far as markets go, I have a feeling that there's a fire sale going on at AMD, because they can't move all those Athlons they're making. I think you're right about the market cap changing, but I have a feeling it's not going to go in the direction that you think.

AMD's market cap got SMALLER while Intel's got BIGGER !
