Glenn,
We have to concede Bezos "Man of the year". He has built AMZN from ground up, by spinning a story to lure folks in droves to invest into his company.
He might receive another "Man of the year" if he fails.

gdr, buffet put it most succinctly - there has never been a better time in history to monetize investor ignorance.

folks are greedy and the fed made it so easy to run up those credit cards to provide more rope, errrr, cash to fuel this ignorati fire.

i'd argue that no retail experience is required to reach the obvious conclusion these business' were bankrupt. i don't have direct retail experience.

however, i did take and understand econ 101 - a feat that the markets continually show is quite rare.

>The $50 million plus is his to keep
Bezo's current stock wealth based on his current Amzn holdings? $4,574,700,000.
Btw
I'd sell about $4bil today, and start another scam with the original insiders.
