rosita lisa- no, i'm not here. i've been at the lake since friday night. got in a fierce summer night thunderstorm friday night on the way to the cove i usually anchor in. sideways rain, pitch-black dark except for the lightning strikes every 30 seconds. couldn't have found the cove without the lightning. i had been reading the tao of pooh earlier so i took it in stride - i actually enjoyed it. it was exhilarating <he means scary>. i was alone so i didn't have to worry about scaring anyone else (dangergirl comes to mind) -- :-) i spent all day today cleaning up the boat, sanding, varnishing, washing, organizing. trying to get it ready for my special company coming for labor day. i even ran off a few spiders (uninvited). <G> how did the 5K go? i had to do a 100 yard dash on the dock today to catch a boat that was sailing with full sails straight downwind into its slip. i made it. saved the bow. heavy boat (ericksen 26). i thought of you and jesse while i was running. 100 yards is a distance run for me. :-) sold the qcom in my ira friday. bought rambus. the former snake-oil salesman musta got to me. :-) been thinking about the tao jones industrials over the weekend. there's got to be some great market strategy in that idea somewhere. i'll let you know if it comes to me. seems like voltaire might already be using it. -el polvo del relámpago
