There are many that have a different opinion than yours on the latency issue. We'll just have to wait and see. I've posted a number of articles that were very favorable to to RAMBUS and latency. DELL White Papers, FiringSquad, etc.

Forget the theory. Look at the 815 vs. 820 benchmarks on Intel's web site. 820 bandwidth is better, so the latency is obviously worse.
