Interesting - the DOW futures are up 80 and the S&P futures only up 2.70. Not aware of the fair value positions but from the surface there appears to be a significant divergence. Still 15 minutes left in futures prior to the open so things can change.

Equity p/c was .45 "for the week". The "low" for the week was indeed .41 -- a value that bookend-ed the week.

VIX to me is less valuable that equity p/c in the sense that it is not measuring changes in put/call bias but changes in implied volatility. In any case, one new low is not significant imo.

I agree that this is looking like a s-t top, but I also think there is an argument for another pop this week. I am steadfastly neutral this morning. -g

I am watching ALTR and INTC to see if they can continue their push. Also watching softie for a surprise bounce out of its large coiling formation.

If somehow they can push the NDX another 100 there will be lots of short-covering and more momo money.
