I did the math too and came to the same conclusion. Very puzzled as to why Rose felt this play was a dude.

As one of the sages on this board has suggested, you can get called and have another vehicle next month. Just pick a different model.

The first time I allowed a stock to be called, I think I finally understood the CCs philosophy. Boy, did I sleep well that night and I have not looked back since.

Now look at this one. It can be our textbook case:

bought ADAP July 10 at 41.68
Today so far its had a high of 26 5/8 and a low of 25 1/8.

How do I redeem myself?

Do I cover with Sep30 for a premium of roughly 1 3/8
or with Sep25 for 3.50.
