I'm so sad for you I'm crying. A horse in my barn Gem had a very bad case of Ring bone that made walking almost impossible. The owner started shoeing ala natural from a natural horse shoer. The horse is much better, she is hardly lame at all. But who knows, I know she lives with the threat of putting her down and she is only 6. I Am sorry about your dog, You will know when the pain is to bad for them to deal with, they will let you know, they always do. HG48
