Good points, Don. I've been wondering whether wider-spread knowledge of topping patterns, due to dissemination over the Internet, would diminish their power. Maybe our vision is warped by the fact that we don't really see what most market watchers see? However, I have seen the diamond and H&S patterns in the indexes discussed a couple of times on the CNBC technical analyst segments about 3:30 p.m. It does seem to me that such information has never been this widespread before, but I've also wondered whether these patterns have such internal power to them that awareness of them doesn't reduce their power?
