Ah well- the whole brouhahahahaha grew out of lemonade stands. That would be "anti people" attitudes on the part of people IN governments- because governments, really, don't have attitudes- do they? At the most you can say groups of people in governments have attitudes, that may or may not be put into written policy, and those policies are then enforced by people- or more correctly you can say groups of people seem to share attitudes, which they probably hold a bit differently on an individual basis.

I really am tired of this "the government isn't people" crap. It IS people- it may be people you don't like, but is people, and those people are for some people and not for others. It doesn't mean they are anti people- it probably means they are anti YOUR ideas. That's usually what it means.

One expects of the representatives of government what one expects of anyone: courtesy, consideration, perspective, the ability to not bother people, or to minimize the bother, except for good reason and with apologies. To hassle young children about lemonade stands is prima facie evidence that one is an officious oaf........But this is just my well- considered, extremely likely opinion........
