wooo I didnt even see MSTR.. would you believe I almost went long last Friday seeing it kept holding support at 20? son of a ...

Welp, time to ride it down again.. thanks for the heads up.. Let me throw this problem at some of you folks and see how you guys/gals deal with this:

Emotions.. how to put a cap on how we let our emotions dictate how well we do in the markets.. My problem is im Italian.. and with that comes the all to well known temper.. and as the market does all too well, it homes in on this weakness and tries to bring it out on each and every trade.. Today was a perfect example.. I decided to do one trade in the morning, set the stop, and hold off on entering new positions until after tomorrow so I can get a better idea of where they are taking the markets.. Of course, TUTS was the trade and it tried 2 times to break out but couldnt.. I was stopped out at 99 7/8, which was perfect.. Lost a point.. but since it was a Monday, and I was in a lousy mood to begin with it started to fester.. It didnt help that my first trade was meant to be LRCX at 29 1/2, which was rejected due to lack of shares.. So now my temper starts boiling.. could have, should have, would have.. put in another trade.. put in another trade..

I resisted.. shut down, went to work, and didnt follow the markets as punishment for these thoughts.. but im REAL interested in hearing how you folks deal with this.. am I alone??? If I took on another trade, I could have made back the measly 1 point.. but more likely, the decision would have been made under stress and anger, and probably would have resulted in another stop out of 1-2 points furthering the temper..

So there is my weakness.. im getting a much better handle on it these days obviously, but its still there.. probably always will be.. but just like an overweight person in a supermarket.. or better yet, an overweight person getting stonned and trying to resist a can of pringles.. and after its all gone, you sit there with tears in your eyes because you just added some 5000 calories at 12am :)
