Anyway, the so-called "curse" should have ended with Kennedy as the Indian chief who placed the curse (a true incident because President Taylor broke a treaty with that tribe) only "placed" it for 100 years.

It began with the 1860 election, and of course we all know that Lincoln died in office... and ended in 1960 with the assassination of JFK, thus completing the 100-year curse.
