I understand what you mean regarding the fanaticism and focus of the far left wing of the Democratic party. And I won't deny the timing and focus of the homosexual issue, as it relates to the military, was ill considered. However, I believe if you take the issue by itself and argue the various positions in a spirit of open dialogue, (without all the Clinton baggage) you will come to realize the policy is the fairest one available. Unfortunately, leadership which is dishonest has a difficult time creating the atmosphere where enrollment by the troops is possible. Michael
