you could be right...i especially like the 'we are Asia' thingy...because we are. the fundamental picture is almost exactly the same...desperately overheating economy with current account deficit growing by leaps and bounds....complacency reigning....

ALTR is in a giving mood perhaps. This is the largest smelly component and has done nothing but go up for so long that it became even more hated chez-moi than INTC.

Looked ready to roll and then they split it. Perhaps now it is ready to make smelly fight the good fight without its mindless positive contribution.

What did you do with your MO short? I just had 1/3 called away at 25 and sold the 1/3 I left uncovered for 31 3/4. Still have 1/3 with september 27.5's sold on it. I'm fearing that a possible Al Bore victory will be bad for the sector.

Had INKT 110's expire worthless. Shit, might as well sell 'em again for September. The 100's were taken away from me.

Rambus got taken away at $70, god that was a dumb move on my part but I got lucky. IDF starts tommorrow and this is make it or break it time for Rambus. Either Intel has other chipsets ready and they cut 'em loose, or they reaffirm Rambus because the backup plan is not ready. This one has got straddle written all over it. Even with the crazy premiums on the puts and calls, I think you can still make out good. I see it moving at LEAST 20 points one way or the other by Sep expiration.

Sitting on mostly cash for my "play" money at the moment.
