I believe that one of the largest earthquakes in the lower 48 this century was in Olympia. You also have lots of volcanoes and lousy weather. ;^)

I rather have one big earthquake and get it over with instead of a lot of smaller (albeit still big) ones. And from this point of view, it would appear we have had our big one while you guys have yet to see yours.

As for the weather, you may feel differently when water is
short.....don't expect me to share.
