<Manipulation lower for profit is theft> Manipulation is procurement of additional leverage in order to maximize profit in the direction of the well defined trend. Manipulation is not the cause of the Trend; it is the effect. The Strong Economic fundamentals in the US have been the primary cause of the decline in the POG over the past 2 decades. If you take a look at this long term chart of the US Dollar Index, you will see that Gold had a massive blow off in the late 70's. $800 POG. Was that Manipulation too? sharelynx.net PS That chart does not exactly give a bullish looking picture for the POG moving forward.
