KV, I appreciate an honest observation and I am sure that you make a good point there, I came her in 1988 from Ct. Talk about Culture Shock!!!! My 11 year old grandson had never heard the 'N' word.. My first encounter with descrimination was at a Flea Market where I was standing waiting to get a soda on a hot as hell summer day' It suddenly dawned on me that we were in line and there was an elderly man waiting to the side???? I watched the whites get their drinks and then when my turn came I was furious He was waiting for the white folks..I did not know whether to kick him in the leg' or what...so I looked at the white gal and said to her "This Gentleman has been standing here waiting for us white folk to "BE FIRST" Now would you please give him a drink and I will pay for it and I looked at him and said Sir' please accept the drink and NEVER feel that you have to wait until we white folks are served first.... It has changed Radically since I came here and all of these "Damn Yankees"e...I am watching those "RatMazes" built off I4 in Orlando and it never ceases to amaze me..the cost of living is skyrocketing here....
